Abstract

In order to enhance Qur’an reading throughout the population, particularly in Brunei Darussalam, the diversity of forms and methodologies in Qur’an studies should be highlighted. The Nadi Quranic Learning Centre brought the Neuro Nadi Method, also known as Al-Baghdadi Method, to Brunei Darussalam in 2016. The Neuro Nadi Method is a modern technique, and there have been no thorough research on it, particularly in Brunei. The purpose of this article is to inform the public about its application in Brunei, as well as its performance in the Quranic study system. The study’s methodology is analysed on the basis of records, observations and questionnaires at the centres. Respondents who participated in the Neuro Nadi Method were asked to fill out the questionnaires. The findings revealed that this method has four distinct advantages, all of which contribute to its success in studying the fundamentals of the Qur’an. Teaching techniques and learning materials are important topics that are discussed. This positive effect and response prove that Neuro Nadi Method in Quranic studies that adhere to current teaching and learning will be able to further attract people to pursue the study of the Qur’an and, as a result, produce a generation that is morally noble and educated in reading the Qur’an.
